Last I heard, Andy I has landed in Southern California, so we should be expecting a new post with pictures very soon.

Hi all. Just want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Both Andy’s are currently with me in Fremont, CA visiting family. When Friday rolls around, one Andy will be flying down south to Walcs, and the other will be flying to Matt4542 on the east coast!!!

But don’t be worried, I hope to take a few more pictures of Andy doing stuff here in California!

Hi all.

So… here’s the first post of Andy’s journey. First stop, beautiful Davis, CA.  Davis is the home of UC Davis, an agricultural school in Northern California, approximately 20 minutes away from Sacramento. It is a nice college city and there are more bikes than there are cars. Here are some pictures of Andy!

UC Davis Fire Engine

This fire engine previously belonged to the City of Davis. After it was retired, the university athletics department purchased and restored it. It is not an icon at all major school athletic events!

UC Davis ARC/Pavilion

UC Davis ARC/Pavilion is the university’s gym on steroids. Recently finished in 2004, it is the place to go participate in a variety of activities ranging from basketball to dance.

The caption says it all. One part of the main courts at the ARC is the 4 full size basketball courts. These basketball courts can be used for a variety of sports and functions. In addition, there is an indoor track that circles the courts from above.
